Tutti Xylophone Takes Centre Stage in French Landscaping Show

Paysalia is the leading trade exhibition for everyone in France active in landscaping.

Paysalia 2017 attracts visitors and exhibitors from all aspects of the landscaping business, from professionals who design, create, or maintain public or private green spaces along with manufacturers and suppliers - everyone active in landscaping meets to build the future of the business together.

Paysalia has chosen ‘health and well-being in gardens’ as the focus for this year’s exhibition. Demonstrating how parks and gardens contribute to the improvement of quality of life and well-being of all its users and highlighting the benefits experienced through the enjoyment of these gardens for all.

Additionally, open to all landscaping designers and entrepreneurs, the Paysalia "Carré des Jardiniers" contest is held every two years. Turning the spotlight on gardeners and rewarding them for their achievements as project managers and artists, the Carré des Jardiniers prize rewards the man or woman who imagines, designs and executes an exceptional garden reflecting the key values of the landscaping profession.

The five 2017 finalists are presenting their visions of the ‘Good Care of Dr. Garden’ at the Paysalia through creating five full-size gardens in the exhibition hall.

Percussion Play are delighted to share with you that friend and reseller Étienne Bourdon from O Ubi Campi is one of the five finalists.

Étienne Bourdon, a landscape architect in Seine-et-Marne, has created a garden for ‘Living Happy with Alzheimers’ a real therapeutic approach so that patients affected by this disease can create, revisit and develop.

Etienne with his company O Ubi Campi, combines expertise in landscaping and medical research. For 8 years, he has been conducting a research programme into ‘active materials’ to put into gardens that impact on the psychiatric care of the elderly.

Each project will be evaluated by a jury made up of 15 people including landscape professionals, journalists and artists representing the 5 senses.
