Visit to Australia & New Zealand

Percussion Play Director Robin Ashfield has travelled extensively in Australia and New Zealand over the past few weeks meeting with partner companies in the Southern Hemisphere. He has been out in the field, meeting employees and conducting training sessions and briefings on our range of outdoor musical instruments as well as meeting with some of their prospective clients.

Percussion Play only work with leading play equipment providers who are experts in play and committed to providing quality, innovative play-spaces for all. These alliances offer customers around the world the opportunity to purchase our musical instruments with the confidence of local in country support and as such hold the keys to the success of the Percussion Play brand. We are fortunate to have several successful working partnerships with companies in Australia and New Zealand and this visit has been a fantastic opportunity to meet face to face with their sales teams and executives to deliver our brand message in a consistent way.

Robin has been able to provide training on existing products as well as new-product introductions. Delivering the training has given the sales teams the opportunity to sample, try, discuss and ask questions about our instruments so they can address their customers' needs and offer excellent sales service and support in the future.

In central Auckland, our partner Playground People, organised a "Demo Day" in local Myers Park. Leith & Kane McFadden (brothers and principals of Playground People Ltd) arranged for several instruments to be available for visitors to come along, have fun in the sun and try some of the instruments for themselves. Rainbow Sambas, Duo Xylophone, Babel Drum, as well as our rainbow Cavatina xylophone and accompanying music book were all ready to be played and Robin was on hand to share his experience and knowledge. The demonstration was a huge success with visitors from the local council, landscape architects, several schools and a local hospital. All of the visitors said how useful it was to see the build standard and to hear the sound quality.

Robin says "We know that the success of our partners is the key to our success and it has been a privilege to meet face to face with some great people who all share such passion for improving outdoor play spaces and facilities for all. Through these training sessions and demonstrations I have been able to improve our partners knowledge and understanding of our products.

Ensuring product benefits and features are communicated properly, the teams now have the information they need to confidently and authentically promote our products and give customers a better brand experience.

Working with organisations who share the same values is very important to us and we look forward to continued productive relationships with them all in the future."
